Manchester United’s Sofyan Amrabat headlines Morocco side to face Zambia
MOROCCO have made their intentions known ahead of the their World Cup qualifier match against Zambia, calling a full-strength team as they aim to consolidate their command of Group E.
Next week, the 2022 World Cup semi-finalists host Avram Grant’s Chipolopolo in Agadir before taking on Congo Brazzaville four days later. Their coach Walid Regragui has assembled his country’s best arsenal.
At the moment, it is fair to say Group E is wide open with four out of the five teams in the pool on three points albeit leaders Morocco have played a game less.
Morocco, Zambia, Niger and Tanzania are all on three points while Congo are bottom of the pile with zero. The back to back matches are set to separate boys from men.
Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz who played for Spain as a junior player headlines Morocco’s squad which has established names like Hakim Ziyech, Soufian Rahimi and Manchester United’s Sofyan Amrabat.
